Nestlé Subdury Factory required a study on the correlation between equipment. Nestlé engineers experimented with different production sequences and with altered equipment specifications to determine the impact on the efficiency of the facility. The simulation proved to be useful to make better decisions on expansion and to identify areas in the facility which required updates or alterations, in order to be able to cope with expected production increases.
