Nestlé Konolfingen, Switzerland


A simulation model has been created to match the production schedule to the packing schedule. The model combines truck arrivals, raw material silo, dryers, hundreds of tote bins (small storage units) and packing lines. Showing how well the weekly production and the packing schedules match and indicating if and where loss of product will occur. Also the impact of truck arrivals is added for this factory.
