Sundance Resources Limited (SDL) is developing Mbalam Iron Ore Project located in the Republic of Cameroon and the Republic of Congo through its majority owned subsidiaries, Cam Iron SA and Congo Iron SA. The location for the port terminal is located at Lolabé site. The target production is an updated export of 35 Mtpa with production capacity up to 50 Mtpa. The simulation model helped to assess the downtime for the offshore export terminal, by comparing different options (berth at North of at South of the jetty, different navigational strategies) and calculation of the connected OPEX, as an element allowing the Client to select the best scenario and layout.
