These are the highlights of the new release:
New Inventory module
Scheduling vessels & barges while considering product inventory over time is now possible. With Dropboard’s new inventory module you can now schedule all future product (un)load tasks and include product inventory as a constraint during manual or automatic smart scheduling.
Dropboard using constraint programming
Dropboard’s Smart scheduling functionality is enhanced with constraint programming and Google’s CP-SAT solver on the back end. This enables Dropboard to find the optimal solution for scheduling vessels & barges while including terminal/port constraints & task priorities.
New features
The Dropboard feature set is ever increasing. The 3.5 release includes new functionality on things such as; dynamic channel allocation, task priority, auto extend task duration, linked visits, data import/export, notifications, and extensive search.
Dropboard stability & speed
Our developers continue to increase both the stability and speed of our software. Recent speed improvements have resulted in drastically reducing visit save speeds. Our new scheduling canvas reacts faster than ever to user actions, facilitating a smoother user experience during manual schedule interactions.
