lock or waterway?

The design and development of locks & waterways is a big undertaking. There are huge financial, environmental, political, regulatory and practical aspects to be considered and carefully weighed. These projects take a great deal of time and effort in the design and approval phases. Preparation is the key to the success of the project, and the best preparation will employ the use of simulation.

Simulation is the only way to understand how various restrictions and marine traffic will interact with each other and how they are affected by external factors, such as weather, tide and other traffic.
